Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI):  The Electric Power Research Institute, Inc. (EPRI) conducts research and development relating to the generation, delivery and use of electricity for the benefit of the public.

California Air Resources Board:  CARB (now ARB) operates under the umbrella of the California Environmental Protection Agency.  The site contains lots of good technical and product information. 

Plug-In Hybrid Development Consortium: The Plug-In Hybrid Development Consortium is made up of component suppliers working together to accelerate the commercial production of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs).

California Energy Commission (CEC):  Great site for EV and energy related information, as well as links to other sites.

National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Hybrid & Fuel Cell Development Programs:   Information on Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs), Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCVs) and other technologies being developed by the  Department of Energy's (DOE's) NREL program.  NREL is a national laboratory working in partnership with public and private organizations.

Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA):  Formerly the Electric Vehicle Association of the Americas, EDTA is now an international association oriented toward supporting the development and use of battery, hybrid and fuel cell electric drive technologies and infrastructure.

eGO Vehicles:  The eGO electric bicycle is energy efficient, practical and fun! 

HybridCars.com:  Major automobile manufacturers are developing gasoline-electric hybrid vehicles in a push to dramatically lower vehicle emissions and increase gasoline engine efficiency.  This site reviews the various offerings from the OEMs, and it provides technical information.

Phoenix Chapter Electric Auto Association:   The home page of the Phoenix Chapter of the Electric Auto Association (EAA). Site includes information on electric vehicle races, events, books, and their monthly meetings. The site also includes a listing of links to other EV related sites.

Sacramento Electric Vehicle Association (SEVA):  SEVA is an excellent source of up-to-date information and resources for EV enthusiasts and builders. They publish a monthly newsletter entitled "EVUpdate." Condensed copies of back issues are available online. SEVA is a chapter of the national EAA (Electric Auto Association). You can join SEVA ($15.00, then $10.00 per year), or print out a membership form online and join the national EAA ($35.00 per year). By joining the national EAA, you automatically have membership in the EAA chapter closest to your home.

FreePatentOnline.com:  This site provides fast, easy-to-use access to millions of patents. FreePatentsOnline.com now provides free PDF downloads. Many sites charge $2 - $5 each to compile individual image files into a PDF and let you download it.  This site does it  it for free.

Delphion:  This site provides on-line patent searches, as well as lots of related information on intellectual property.  It is sponsored by IBM, and replaces IBM's prior patent search site.

Compumarine:  Compumarine provides boat plans showing amateur boatbuilders how to build cedar strip dinghies and canoes.    Plans include full-size patterns and a construction manual.

Gluhareff Pressure Jet Engines:  This is the website run by Irina Gluhareff, current owner of rights to the Gluhareff Pressure Jet Engine developed by her father, Eugene M. Gluhareff.
